Dog Trainer
Aidan James Nicholas, one of the very few true Certified Professional Dog Trainers in the state of Alabama, has been a professional in the field for 9 years. He is Certified through the Certification
Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) as a CPDT-KA, and is noted as the youngest person to date to complete the program. In addition, he is a CGC evaluator as well as a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), the United States Association of Reptile Keepers (USARK), and a former Search and Rescue Technician (SARTECH II) with his k-9 of four years. His dedication towards scientific training methods and his quest for knowledge demand rigorous continuing education and led him to be personally mentored by two of the most renowned and respected dog trainers in the country, Chad Byerly and Sarah Keegans. He is an aversive-free, positive-reinforcement-based trainer who does not use any painful, harmful, or fear-inducing tools, such as prong collars, shock collars, and choke chains. He has extensive training in many fields, including Basic Obedience, Service Dogs, Behavior cases, and more. In addition to training Dogs, he also has experience working with a wide variety of other species, including reptiles, cats, birds, small and large mammals, and more.
